Altitude with Attitude is a series of fly-ins, organised by Kirsten Seeto for female pilots in Australia rated PG2 or above.
The Rainbow Beach fly-in is a three-day fly-in for up to nine participants. Organisers say,
“We will use any non-flyable times to talk about instruments and weather forecasting tools, so bring your instruments and questions with you!”
The entry fee includes food and accommodation.

Canungra, in Australia’s Gold Coast region, has several grassy take-offs covering all wind directions, located on 500m high tree-covered mountain ridges.
The Beechmont launch during the dry summer months can produce early thermals even at 7am. This results in long XC flights. The records are 325 km for a paraglider and 519 km for a hang glider.
One round of the Cup will count towards a pilot’s WPRS score.
The entry fee of AUS$480 includes a full retrieve, excursions and transport system including airport transfers.

The Sydney fly-in is a three-day event for up to 10 participants. Organisers say,
“We will be flying whenever it is flyable so arrive ready to fly early Friday. Its unlikely to be flyable the entire weekend so we will use the non-flyable times to talk about instruments and weather forecasting tools.”

Forbes Flatlands 2019 takes place from 28 December 2018. There are Open, Women and Sport classes, and the competition is FAI cat. 2.

The Bright Open is a 7-day cross-country paragliding competition that will be held from 12-18 January 2019.
The competition is HGFA AAA and FAI Cat 2, and open to all pilots with a minimum of an Australia PG4 rating or equivalent.
The Flow Corryong Open 2019 is held at Mount Elliot, “one of the best alpine flying sites in Australia” and just a few thermal glides from Mt Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest mountain.
Organisers add, “The valley system makes the flying spectacular and the retrieves easy and quick”.
85 pilots maximum and no open0class wings allowed.
The NSW State Titles foot-launch hang gliding XC competition takes in Manilla from 17-23 February 2019.
Organisers say,
“The comp attracts the best of the best from Australia and around the world, so is the ideal site for up-and-coming pilots to learn from those at the top of their game. It is also the ideal comp for newer pilots wishing to fly big air and fly big flights.”
HQ is the Royal Hotel, Manilla.

The Dubbo fly-in is a towing event for up to seven participants. Organisers say,
“We will be in the tow paddock from mid morning till late afternoon. Breakfast will be briefing time, dinner will be debrief. We will start and finish in Dubbo but where we fly will be up to the weather-gods!”
The entry fee is to be confirmed, but will include meals. You will be sleeping under the stars!
