The first Auckland Regional Paragliding Competition of the 2016/17 Season takes place from 3-4 December 2016.
The competition is FAI cat. 2 and free to enter, but pilots are asked to please register on Airtribune.com. Pilots must be NZHGPA members.
The National Paragliding Competition of New Zealand will take place from 26 February – 4 March 201 at Auckland.
This is the only round in the 2016/17 season, and the results from this round will determine the NZ National Paragliding Champion.
This competition is open to qualified NZHGPA member paraglider pilots.
The New Zealand PG Open will be held from 28 January – 4 February 2018.
The competition is to be held in the mountains surrounding Wanaka. Expect everything… lakes, glaciers, open valleys, steep mountains, native forest, extreme wilderness. The diversity is what makes flying in Wanaka so special.
The 41st New Zealand Hang Gliding Nationals take place at Mount Murchison, South Island, from 26th January – 2 February 2019.
The FAI cat 2 competition has Open and Sport Class categories.
