The Quest Air Nationals flatland competition will take place in Florida from 14-19 April 2019. This Week 1 event is also a pre-Worlds round.
The competition has Open, Sport, Women’s, Swift, and Rigid wing classes, and Flymaster trackers will be provided for live tracking,
It is USHPA and CIVL sanctioned, which means USHPA NTSS and CIVL WPRS points will be awarded.

The Montegrappa Trophy competition takes place at Borso del Grappa in north-east Italy over the Easter weekend, 18-22 April 2019.
There are places for up to 150 pilots in the competition, which is also a round of the Italian Nationals 2019. Alongside the competition is a season-opening trade show – come and see the current lines of some of the industry’s biggest names.
This is the second week of Quest Air Nationals hang gliding flatlands competition.
As with week one, there will be live tracking (Flymaster trackers provided) and the competition is USHPA and CIVL sanctioned, so USHPA NTSS and CIVL WPRS points will be awarded.
The FAI category 2 competition takes place in Meduno, north-east Italy, in an area well known to European pilots.
There will be Class 1, Class 5 and Sports Class categories.
Empesos is to host the 2019 Greek Paragliding Championship, which will also be a pre World Cup event.
Organisers say the site is well known as a competition venue, offering outstanding views, plentiful thermals, friendly locals and excellent fresh local food.

There will be a training day and registration on 6 June, and then three task days, with a fourth as a reserve day, to be used if there have not been two valid tasks.
This three-day hike-and-fly competition starts and ends at the Gruyère Château.
Competitors have to complete a course around turnpoints, laid out in a figure-eight. If they complete the circuit before the time is up, they can go round again.
There are two categories: ‘Compétiteur’ is standard hike-and-fly competition rules – only your feet or your wing can be used for transport and the mandatory kit must be carried; the Mobilité douce” category offers a gentler approach, where public transport including ski-lifts can be used to help get pilots to take-offs. Between 9pm and 6am is rest time.
Pilots don’t need an FAI sporting licence, but IPPI level 4 or above is required.
