The Slovenia leg of the 2011 British Paragliding Open series takes place in Kobarid from 28 May - 4 June.

Oliver Rössel, the current German serial class paragliding champion and one of the most successful competition pilots in the world, is running cross country training camps in the Alps next season.

23-year-old 2007 junior French champion Alexandre Jofresa has won the first round of the British Paragliding Open that was held in Kobarid, Slovenia, from 5 - 12 June. In second place and first Brit was Jamie Messenger.

xTc Paragliding are offering beginner / improver cross country courses from the Tolmin-Kobarid valley, Slovenia. The week of 16 - 23 June British Club Pilots with 25 hours + airtime can work on their BHPA Pilot rating.
