Six-time Red Bull X-Alps champion Chrigel Maurer presents the inside story of the 2019 Red Bull X-Alps in a brilliant two-hour show.
Using his unique personal footage Chrigel reveals what it is really like to race 1,200km across the Alps by foot and paraglider.
From the adrenaline-charged start in Salzburg, Austria, to thermalling at 4,500m above the Alps, to landing on the raft in the Mediterranean Sea, Chrigel will take us through all the incredible highs and lows of his own Red Bull X-Alps 2019 race.
Held every two years, the Red Bull X-Alps is billed as the “Toughest adventure race in the world”. Athletes must race across the Alps by foot and paraglider – no other form of transport is allowed. One of the best adventure paraglider pilots in the world, Chrigel Maurer has won it an incredible six times.
Now, for the first time ever, he is bringing his live presentation to the UK.
Presented by Cross Country Magazine, with Fly Sussex and support from Advance Paragliders, Chrigel Maurer is in the country for two nights only.
