Paraglider harness experts Sup’Air have replaced their popular Altix harness with the new Altix 2.
A ‘sport’ category harness, the company say it is designed to suit all pilots from the newly-qualified to the experienced cross country chaser. They describe it as a “compact, light and comfortable” design, which has used the best parts fron their most recent designs to make one great all-rounder.
3D mesh and medium density foam offer a rigid and ergonomic back rest, and comfortable side supports and shoulder straps. The Altix 2 has an adjustable seat depth and comes with a foot stirrup, which automatically releases in the case of parachute deployment to avoid entanglement.
The ERS (Easy Release System) parachute pocket (right-hand release) has a totally integrated reserve handle and container. The harness uses Sup’Air’s new patented self-locking / quick-release buckles and has an airbag, built-in radio pocket, hydration system pouch and side storage pocket.
The Altix 2 is available in four sizes in black /red, black / blue or black / silver with red line (pictured) colour combinations.
The M size weighs 4.1 kg (wooden seat plate) or 3.6 kg (carbon fibre seat plate)
Suggested retail price is 568.56 Eur (before tax)
