Following 18 months of hard work, numerous prototypes and many hours of test flights, Sol‘s sport category paraglider, the Synergy 4, is certified EN C / LTF 2 and on sale.
With its more elongated profile, Sol say the Synergy 4 offers improved performance over its predecessor whilst retaining the same security. It has been designed for experienced pilots to enjoy long flights. Sol say its high internal pressure gives it great passive security, even at speed, and gentle reactions to turbulence, and its ‘Double V tabs’ system gives it good stability in the centre of the wing.
Sol say pilots looking to move up to this category of glider should find the Synergy 4 an easy step up and will enjoy the performance gains; a pilot already on a sport class wing will enjoy its handling and security.
The Synergy 4 is manufactured from three different cloths, offering the best combination of weight and longevity. Details include brake swivels, magnetic brake handle keepers, plastic inserts on the maillons, and different coloured webbing on the left and right risers to avoid confusion.
Sol’s wings are guaranteed for 300 hours / 3 years. The Synergy 4 is available in four sizes (all-up weights from 60 – 125 kg) and four colour options. the M and L are certified EN C / LTF 2, with S and XL to follow shortly.
