Niviuk have unveiled their all-new EN D paraglider. The Icepeak 6 is their “answer to a new challenge”, a serial class competition paraglider for a new era.
Niviuk say they have had to apply all their years of knowledge in research, design and technology, and starrted from a blank drawing board to make a high-performance wing that meets EN standards.
And they are happy that they have achieved this aim. They say the Icepeak 6 is precise to fly with an incredibly low sink rate, classic Niviuk feel and balanced feedback.
The company say that a moderate aspect ratio ensures it is very manoeuverable and solid in turbulent air. “Supreme performance yet exceeding all EN D certification expectations”.
The company say that the first Icepeak 6s will be available for the Niviuk team for the Paragliding World Cup superfinal in Valle de Bravo in Mexico at the end of this month.
